Michael E. Hofmeister, MS, MBA

Vice President of Operations

I have spent my professional life working in the brain rehabilitation injury field and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Since my first days as a direct care provider I have been honored to work with many tremendous participants and their families and feel blessed to have witnessed their remarkable progress. Although I am no longer in a clinical role, I am grateful for the ongoing opportunities to positively influence the lives of individuals through leadership, operations and service delivery improvements. I am proud to be a part of an organization that handles business and human services with respect and dignity for the individuals we support.

Mike Hofmeister’s career combines front-line care experience with high-level management and program development.  Currently, Mike oversees operations in all states and together with the organization’s COO and CFO he develops NeuroRestorative’s strategic plans and budgets.  He is also an active participant in the due diligence process for acquisitions and program growth.

The early years of Mike’s career were focused on practical training.  He began his career in 1991 as a Behavioral Specialist and later served as a Staff Psychologist, Project Coordinator and Psychological Associate.  He assumed his first leadership position as a Director at Learning Services Neurobehavorial Institute. In February, 2003, he became the Executive Director of MENTOR ABI, one of the many reputable providers that make up today’s NeuroRestorative.

Mike earned his MBA in Health Care Administration from the Regis University School of Management.  He also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Behavioral Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology, both from Eastern Michigan University.
