Roger P. Carrillo, M.Ed

Vice President of Business Development

Having spent most of my career in the field of neurorehabilitation has provided me the unique opportunity of working with hundreds of remarkable people. Every day, I see people with extraordinary courage and unrelenting perseverance overcome the devastating effects of brain or spinal cord injuries. I also work with many NeuroRestorative caregivers, nurses, therapists, psychologists and program managers who devote their professional lives to helping and encouraging people with disabilities overcome barriers and re-learn daily living skills lost as result of an injury or neurological condition. They persist and work as teams with one goal in mind – helping people they serve regain their independence.

Roger Carrillo has been in the medical rehabilitation field for more than thirty years, holding several senior level positions in management, administration, and clinical program development. Currently, Roger oversees business development for NeuroRestorative’s post-acute brain injury rehabilitation and supported living services throughout Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

Roger was responsible for start-up and development of NeuroRestorative’s programs in the four-state region.  Prior to his NeuroRestorative tenure he served as Chief Executive Officer of Golden State Rehabilitation Hospital in San Ramon, California.  He was the Vice President for Clinical Affairs at Rebound, Inc., a national specialty brain injury company based in Nashville, Tennessee; Chief Operating Officer, Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee; and Program Director at NeuroRestorative Timber Ridge in Benton, Arkansas.

Roger has been affiliated with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) as a medical rehabilitation surveyor for more than eighteen years. He is actively involved with the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM), Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA), North America Brain Injury Society (NABIS), and National Association of State Head Injury Administrators (NASHIA). He holds a Master of Education degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas.
