Our outpatient clinic in Standish, Maine is for individuals with brain injury living in the community who need services. The clinic offers occupational, speech, recreational therapy and cognitive retraining to participants. The Standish clinic also offers neuropsychology consultation and behavioral training. The clinic is uniquely equipped to serve participants supported by the Brain Injury Waiver in Maine and empowers participants to fully integrate back into the community. Program participants may also be funded by Mainecare, workers compensation, and private pay.
Located next to the clinic in Standish is the Clubhouse, a participant-driven program structured around meaningful work and offering community engagement, relationship building, productive activities, pre-employment support and education support. Daily activities may include tasks such as: hiring staff, preparing meals, completing basic building maintenance, advocating in the community, etc.
The services listed below may be offered by our staff and other professionals on-site or in the community. NeuroRestorative also coordinates or assists participants in accessing additional services from other health professionals and local service providers as necessary.
