The MENTOR Network’s programs that make up MENTOR ABI – including the Center for Comprehensive Services, MENTOR Brain Injury Services, Lakeview, and NeuroRestorative Specialty Centers – have been unified under the name NeuroRestorative as of July 1, 2010.
Over the last few years, The Network has worked hard to expand the continuum of supports and services offered to individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries in an effort to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to participants and their families. By uniting operations under one brand, the programs that make up NeuroRestorative are able to combine the best of their storied histories and expertise in a way that more accurately reflects the continuum of individualized services offered by these programs.
“The new NeuroRestorative brand gives us the opportunity to provide new opportunities for people of all ages who have brain and spinal cord injuries, or other neurological challenges,” said Bill Duffy, Chief Operating Officer of NeuroRestorative. “Although our name is changing, we will continue to provide the same high-quality, community-based services that have made us a leader in the field.”
The services and supports that NeuroRestorative programs provide will not change, nor will the talented professionals who provide them. The new NeuroRestorative brand, including a redesigned logo, tagline and website, will enable The MENTOR Network to provide clearer messaging to our audiences, ultimately helping to better match participants with our programs.
The new NeuroRestorative combines the resources of a select group of providers. With more than 30 years of experience and combined clinical expertise, NeuroRestorative offers an array of services and locations, making it possible to help thousands of individuals and families each year. Programs and services are delivered in community-based settings with modifications whenever necessary to allow individuals to receive support in neighborhood settings.
“We believe that recovery from a brain or spinal cord injury requires distinct, specialized care for each individual,” added Mike Hofmeister, Vice President of Operations for NeuroRestorative. “Our goal is to help our participants gain greater independence, a goal that is strengthened under the new NeuroRestorative brand.”
NeuroRestorative is a partner of The MENTOR Network, a national network of local providers offering an array of quality, community-based services to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain and spinal cord injuries and other catastrophic injuries and illnesses and to youth with emotional, behavioral and medically complex challenges as well as their families.
Along with CareMeridian, NeuroRestorative represents The MENTOR Network’s Post-Acute Specialty Rehabilitation Services.
