Program Director for NeuroRestorative Indiana, Robbie Schmidt, was featured in the December 2012 edition of Case in Point, a monthly publication for case managers.
In the article, Robbie discusses her experience working with Veterans with brain injury and how she partners with the VA in her role with NeuroRestorative Indiana to serve Veterans and their families.
"These men and women have been through so much already that when I see a Veteran being able to get the benefits they deserve and need in order to live a full and satisfying life with their families–that in itself is most rewarding, says Robbie.
In addition to her role as Program Director for NeuroRestorative Indiana, Robbie Schmidt is a former brain injury specialist with the Indianapolis VA Medical Center. Prior to her work with the VA, Robbie served as a social worker in the brain injury unit of the Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital’s trauma center. She has over a decade of experience working within the mental health arena.
