NeuroRestorative Continues to Provide Educational Opportunities through Neuro Institute

NeuroRestorative is excited to launch the fall series of our Neuro Institute which offers monthly online CEU opportunities for brain injury rehabilitation professionals. Our highly qualified faculty members will deliver engaging, innovative programs spanning a variety of topics related to brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation services. Our first presentation this fall, “The New Normal —Understanding Individual and Family Dynamics Following Traumatic Brain Injury,” will take place on Friday, October 31, 2014 and will be hosted by Deborah Gutteridge, Clinical Evaluator for NeuroRestorative Carbondale.

The one hour presentations will be hosted one Friday a month beginning at 12 p.m. EST and thereafter will be available to view for CEU credit on NeuroRestorative.com. NeuroRestorative’s expert faculty members from around the country will present on topics ranging from outcomes data, to rehabilitation methods and trends in the industry—providing learning opportunities for professionals in the brain injury rehabilitation field.

November 21, 2014: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in Combat Veterans

  • Identify 4 clinical similarities between PTSD and TBI
  • List 4 treatment strategies for each condition
