Last month, employees and participants from NeuroRestorative Ohio celebrated the holiday season with a visit from a group of Scioto employees, known as the “Scioto Santas.”
Scioto is a leader in disability housing in the United States and committed creating innovative housing solutions for its providers and partners. In Ohio, NeuroRestorative recently partnered with Scioto to find a single-family home just outside of Columbus for a new community-based program supporting individuals with brain injuries and other neurological challenges.
“By partnering with Scioto to find the most appropriate housing we are able to open our program faster and continue to focus our efforts on providing the highest quality care to our participants and their families,” says Genny Beck, Program Director for NeuroRestorative Ohio. “Scioto made the process of opening our new program so much easier and I’m glad the Scioto Santas were able to help us spread holiday cheer.”
The Scioto Santas helped NeuroRestorative’s employees and participants decorate the house for the upcoming Christmas holiday as well as bake cookies and wrap presents which were donated to individuals with disabilities throughout the community.
