NeuroRestorative Opens Two New Locations, Expands Commitment to Veterans and Military Service Members

NeuroRestorative is proud to announce the opening of our newest locations, NeuroRestorative San Antonio in Texas and NeuroRestorative National Capitol, located in Germantown, Maryland.  These new programs offer specialized environments designed to meet the needs of the military community.  Our community-based programs are conveniently located in close proximity to the many military resources the surrounding communities already have in place, offering seamless continuity of care for participants.

“As the nation’s largest provider of post-acute rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain injuries and other neurological challenges, we are excited to further expand our programs and services for those men and women who have—and continue to–serve our country,” said Mike Hofmeister, NeuroRestorative’s Vice President of Operations.

Nestled in the quiet San Antonio suburb of Castle Hill, NeuroRestorative San Antonio offers transitional living programs in a comfortable, home-like environment with access to the amenities of the surrounding community, as well as the area’s military bases and medical resources.  Our day treatment program, located just a few blocks away, is the ideal therapeutic setting for participants to receive additional services and supports.

NeuroRestorative National Capitol in Germantown, Maryland, is a five–soon to be eight-bed–home located on five acres of land, offering a serene, therapeutic environment just outside the dynamic city of Washington, DC and in close proximity to resources, including the Walter Reed National MilitarRafael Chavesy Medical Center.  NeuroRestorative National Capitol is dedicated to maintaining a strong military culture in which not only our participants, but many members of our staff, are Veterans themselves.

“There is an automatic kinship that exists between members of the military,” said Veteran/Military Liaison for NeuroRestorative, Rafael Chaves, a U.S. Army Veteran who spent 24 years on active duty.  “The fact that we are able to offer these men and women who have done so much for our country an opportunity to bridge the gap between active duty and civilian life in an environment among fellow service members is truly unique.”
