Specialized Vocational Related Services

Vocational Evaluation. Aptitude, interest, work values, educational and critical work behaviors are assessed. This vocational evaluation can assist vocational specialists from the private and public sector in determining eligibility and appropriateness of services.

Drivers Assessment, Education and Remediation. A pre-driving assessment screens for the physical, visual and cognitive skills necessary for driving. Results of this screening may include recommendations for a formal driving evaluation. Issues related to driving safely after an acquired brain injury are also addressed as needed.

Customized Situational Assessments. Situational assessments evaluate an individual's ability to perform in a work environment. A relationship with a local, active business - one that, when possible, mirrors the clients' pre-existing vocation - is developed and integrated into the vocational plan.

Vocational Exploration and Counseling Services. Vocational exploration, labor market research, and counseling services are used to identify realistic options within the client's realm of interests and abilities.
