Veterans Health Administration Assisted Living Pilot Program for
Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury
NeuroRestorative is proud to be a contracted provider with the Veterans Health
Administration Assisted Living Pilot Program for Veterans with Traumatic Brain
Injury. This pilot program is the first time that the VA has contracted
with civilian providers who offer post-acute brain injury rehabilitation
services. The pilot program accepts
Veterans who were injured in combat or have a service-related injury, as well
as Veterans whose injuries are the result of an accident or injury that
occurred while a Veteran. Through this
program, the VA provides dedicated funding to cover the costs of specialized
private rehabilitation programs such as NeuroRestorative to
work together with Veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their
families to enhance quality of life, and community integration.
For more information, or to make a referral to this program, contact our referral line at 1-800-743-6802. We encourage families to tour our programs and meet with our team to provide an opportunity to answer questions.

“His VA case manager told me about the pilot
program and we looked at NeuroRestorative together. Now that John is here, it’s a huge weight off
of our shoulders. He’s happy here and
will hopefully be able to return to a level where he can function independently
again.”
