Our Maine program provides post-acute programs and community-based services for adults with brain injury and other neurological challenges. We support individualized, outcome-driven programs in the most independent setting possible, including supported living and transitional living, day treatment, outpatient, and respite programs.
Community Integration
With programs in six locations throughout Southern Maine, NeuroRestorative has a range of settings and services that provide many opportunities for community participation. Their homes in Gorham, Kennebunk, Old Orchard Beach, Sebago, Standish and Westbrook, provide specialized rehabilitation supports in comfortable, efficient and cost-effective alternatives to skilled nursing facilities and other traditional care settings. Professional staff members work with each individual to develop individualized service plans with the goal of increasing the level of independence in our community-based settings.
Outpatient Facility
NeuroRestorative’s Maine outpatient clinic in Standish offers a range of therapy and training to empower individuals to fully integrate back into the community. Their individual-driven clubhouse program, located right next door, provides meaningful work and community engagement opportunities, relationship building, productive activities, and pre-employment and education support.

Our Services
Our neurorehabilitation team provides personalized care—including physical, occupational, and speech therapies—helping individuals regain independence, improve daily functioning, and thrive. Support services cover mobility, memory, communication, social skills, safety, and community participation.
Our neurobehavioral support team provides personalized behavioral health services in homes, communities, schools, and program locations. We help individuals manage a wide range of challenges, including aggression, self-harm, impulsivity, social difficulties, daily life skills, grief, pain, medication, and offer individual and family counseling.
When distance does not allow for face-to-face visits, our HIPAA-compliant, interactive video-teleconferencing platform makes connecting individuals
with our care team easy and convenient. Our telehealth care delivery can ensure people access the supports and services they need to thrive. High-bred programs
that use some face-to-face and some telehealth sessions are available. Services may be provided in an individual’s first language for non-English speakers.
