NeuroRestorative Recognizes Brain Injury Awareness Month with #HeadsUp Campaign

Every March, NeuroRestorative participates in national Brain Injury Awareness Month —a time to honor those impacted by brain injury and promote the need for prevention, access to care, research and advocacy.

This year NeuroRestorative is proud to mark Brain Injury Awareness Month through its #HeadsUp campaign. During the month of March, NeuroRestorative will provide brain injury prevention tips in a series of emails, on our social media pages and website. By spreading awareness about brain injury prevention, NeuroRestorative hopes to educate the public, and honor individuals and families living with brain injury.

According to the Brain Injury Association of America, an estimated 1.7 million children and adults in the United States sustain a traumatic brain injury (TBI), and another 795,000 individuals sustain an acquired brain injury (ABI) from non-traumatic causes annually.

“NeuroRestorative recognizes and is proud to take part in Brain Injury Awareness Month by providing brain injury prevention tips to the public. It is important to spread awareness and education about brain injury and what individuals can do to prevent it,” said Bill Duffy, President, NeuroRestorative.

As a leading provider of post-acute rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain and spinal cord injuries and other neurological challenges, NeuroRestorative provides customized community-based programs that manage the complex medical and behavioral challenges experienced by individuals living with brain injury.
