NeuroRestorative Sponsors the Run to Home Base

NeuroRestorative, a partner of The MENTOR Network, sponsored the 2015 Run-Walk to Home Base this past Saturday, July 25th. Established by the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital, the 9K run or 2.5 mile walk supports Veterans returning from service in Afghanistan and Iraq with traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder, and their families.

“We are proud to have sponsored and participated in this year’s Run to Home Base. As an organization, NeuroRestorative aims to continually provide support to Veterans and Military Service Members with brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder— a goal shared with the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital,” said Bill Duffy, President, NeuroRestorative.

Proceeds from the event support the Home Base Program which provides funding for clinical care for Veterans and family outreach, as well as research and education for healthcare providers and the community. Employees from NeuroRestorative and The Network participated in the race which kicked-off outside historic Fenway Park and concluded when runners and walkers crossed home plate in front of the Green Monster at Fenway.
