Alyson Wolz, DNP Medical Director, Chicago (Carbondale)
Dr. Wolz is the Medical Director for NeuroRestorative Chicago (Carbondale). Dr. Wolz serves as a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist and provides medication management and program consultation for NeuroRestorative programs in Illinois and Iowa. She joined the NeuroRestorative team as a part-time consultant in 2001 and began working full time with Carbondale programs in 2018, expanding services to the Chicago and Iowa programs in 2019.
Dr. Wolz is native to Southern Illinois and has been providing psychiatric and wellness services in the rural area for children, adolescents, and adults since 1988. She earned her Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice through Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) and is board certified in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. Dr. Wolz has been active as an adjunct professor in the SIUE School of Nursing and is a contributing author for practice guidelines references for family practice.
