Medical Directors

Clay Brashears, M.D. Medical Director

Dr. Brashears has served as Medical Director for NeuroRestorative’s Timber Ridge program in Benton, AR, since 2002. He received his undergraduate degree at Southern Methodist University and earned his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his Internal Medicine & Pediatrics residency at UAMS in 1999.

Dr. Brashears has been very involved with Saline Memorial Hospital, serving as Internal Medicine Section Chief from 2000 to 2001, Vice Chief of Staff from 2004 to 2006, Chief of Medical Staff from 2006 to 2010, and as a member on several committees including the Quality Assurance Committee, the Critical Care Unit Committee, and the Executive Committee. Additionally, he served as President of the Saline County Medical Society from 2007 to 2010.

Dr. Brashears has practiced in Benton since 1999 and provides full range of primary care services for all ages, including acute illness care, preventive care, and specialized care for chronic disease management. Under his direction, Dr. Brashears’ Clinic received the Platinum Award in recognition of outstanding quality improvement efforts from the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care (AFMC) in 2012 and 2013 and the Gold Award in 2014.  He oversees quality improvements as the Physician Champion for the practice’s Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) program and as the Physician Lead for AFMC’s Patient Centered Medical Home program.
